OUR STORY

Wellspring Farm began in 1981 when a grandfather, father, and son decided to move out of the city and purchase a piece of land to call home. They were city boys learning how to care for the land.

And care for it they did. They spent years creating the farm it is today, cultivating almost 100 acres and raising cattle, horses, and even cotton.

After years of raising horses, we knew we wanted to expand. With hundreds of trees, shrubs, and plants dotting the property, a flower field just made sense. Plants have always been part of our history, and the floral side of Wellspring Farm is the realization of a decades-long dream.

Now, we utilize our rich, fertile ground to grow a vast array of spectacular blooms in shades of every color. We meticulously care for each flower on the farm, cultivating and harvesting the stems by hand to ensure you get the best quality possible.

Why Shop Local?

You might be wondering, “Why should I get my flowers from Wellspring Flower Farm when I can just order from a large supplier?”

We implement organic practices on the farm – utilizing natural weed-suppression methods and organic compost to bring you the most vibrant blooms possible. Unlike other flower growers, we tend to and harvest each bloom by hand, only selecting the highest quality flowers to bring to our customers.

When you purchase from a local business like ours, you support American-grown products and reduce your environmental impact by avoiding importation emissions. Plus, you’ll save money on shipping costs and receive a much fresher product!
